El Paso pastor dies of complications from COVID-19 (El Paso Times) The Rev. Jose Luis Garayoa, pastor of Little Flower Church in the Lower Valley, died of complications from COVID-19, the El Paso Catholic Diocese announced. South Dakota priest jailed for theft (CNA) A South Dakota priest has been sentenced to almost eight years in federal prison, after he was convicted of 65 felonies related to stealing donations from Catholic parishes.
