The prophet Joel calls to us through the ages – “Even now says the Lord, return to me with your whole heart, with fasting, and weeping, and mourning. Rend your hearts not your garments, and return to the Lord your God” (Joel 2: 12-13). In this online workshop, Deacon Steve Kramer, DMin, will explore preaching themes of repentance, change and conversion during the season of Lent. We will also delve into the specific texts/rites of the RCIA and how the journey of the catechumen is applicable to the entire assembly.
