Bishop David Ricken ordained eight men to the diaconate on Saturday, Aug. 1, at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral. The newly ordained deacons include David Denby, Daniel Garcia, William Gerl III, Arthur Gerstner, Daniel Gray, Robert Hendricks, Michael Valenta and Gregory Van Thiel.
