From the diocesan Facebook page:
On July 18, 2020 at Holy Family Cathedral, Bishop David Konderla ordained seven men into the permanent diaconate for the Diocese of Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma. In his homily, bishop Konderla told the ordinands, “Today is kind of a harvest. The Spirit plants the call to serve the church in Holy Orders in those whom God chooses. The Church nurtures and confirms these vocations and, at the proper time, harvests them through ordination.”
Bishop Konderla also explained the sacred significance of the laying on of hands. “The laying on of hands today connects you back to the earliest Church. It will confer upon you a gift of the Holy Spirit that permits you to exercise a sacred power which can only come from Christ Himself through His Church.
There were nine men who completed the six-year formation program. Augusto Pellecchia and Harrison Garlick were unable to attend the ordination today. They will be ordained later this year in December, God willing.
