This popped up in my feed this morning and it’s too good not to share: David Letterman’s 1998 conversation with Father Michael Berner, who had just won a million dollars in the Publisher’s Clearing House Sweepstakes.
Father Berner passed away in 2025 at the age of 65 — you can read his full obituary for more — but part of his enduring legacy is this moment on national television. It’s delightful.
