What a wonderful witness.

From my friend Sean Gallagher at The Criterion:

I was blessed today to do reporting at the diaconate ordination of archdiocesan seminarian Liam Hosty. It took place at St. Barnabas Church in Indy where Liam and his parents are members.

This was a special ordination in part because Liam’s father is Deacon Tom Hosty, a permanent deacon of the Indy Archdiocese. They’re the first father and son to be deacons in the history of the archdiocese. Coverage to come at The Criterion.

And of course, the father got to vest his son.

Congratulations and ad multos annos! Welcome, Deacon Liam! I’ll post more when the story goes live.
