This popped up last weekend on the archdiocesan Facebook page:

The Archdiocese of Cincinnati joyfully celebrates the ordination of ten men as permanent deacons and eight men as transitional deacons. Archbishop Robert G. Casey conferred the Sacrament of Holy Orders at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter in Chains. We give thanks to God for these men who have answered His call to serve His Church with humility and devotion. Please join us in praying for them as they begin this sacred ministry!

I haven’t been able to find any subsequent stories or a list of names of the new deacons, but as always: ad multos annos! Welcome, brothers!

UPDATE: A sharp-eyed reader sent this my way, from The Catholic Telegraph:   a story profiling and naming the new permanent deacons for the archdiocese. Thank you, Mark Kroncke!
