It’s actually based on the success of a 2022 film by the same name, which imagined the parables retold in modern times. This new series will evidently attempt something similar with the Book of Acts.

Details:

According to the production agency, Roarlight, TESTAMENT is “A reimagining of the Book of Acts in a world that looks very much like our own today. Starting on the day of Pentecost, this series brings the accounts of the Early Church to life like never before.

The series will be directed by Paul Syrstad and produced by Jackie Shepherd.
